Okay I hate to say it but wearing flannel, hipster style, in NYC can and does = P in V. Head on over to the unique Black and White on 10th Street & 4th. They typically play loud, and dance-worthy music, but also have secluded candlelit tables throughout the small space. When you’re staring at each other over that open flame, proceed to talk about how your house is haunted. It works. P in Friggin V.
If your house isn’t really haunted and she ain’t a movie buff, go with the plot of Poltergeist.
