If you haven’t been to the Indian restaurant Milon, go there, and then say it’s your birthday. Add the right personnel, in the form of the Merch Girl you had tend to your valuables while you rocked out earlier that weekend, and this equation provides hope: if the beginning of your night is good enough, you can get nasty sick and still walk away with some P in V in the morning.
Above, The Birthday Song At Milon
Enthusiasts will remember our words of wisdom on being in a band, but we’ll take it one step further. Head on down to NYU and pick yourself up a Merch Girl. Every band needs some delightful young darling to push those CD’s and T-shirts to the 10 people that watched you play. And, every Merch Girl needs a good rock n rolla to show her a solid time after the show. The creators of P in V have seen that picking up a merch girl can be done with a little outgoing personality, and the skill of handing out some show flyers down in NYU country.
After you’ve solidified the Merch Girl, take her out to dinner at Milon. This fire hazard of a restaurant isn’t really an intimate setting, so make it a group party. There are 3 other Indian restaurants right next to Milon that employ waiters to stand outside, who literally try and drag you in. This can be pretty comical if you make them fight over you. Then ALWAYS say it’s your birthday, even if its not, and you will be rewarded with Indian Dance Club Birthday music while this guy (below) poses in your pictures.
Milon is BYOB, so you’ll probably get tanked. In the case of this contributor, too tanked. But, the combination of your rock star status, and the ego boost from the Indian guys attempting to steal your Merch Girl, apparently out weighs the horrid sight and sound of you ralphing all over your bathroom. After the toilet hug sessh, Merch Girl persevered, and in the morning was down for some wake me up P in V.
